This is what I have been trying to explain to people.In order to get status, they have to be able to show they can support themselves, obeyed all laws, including paying taxes. They get tax ID numbers (not SSN numbers). They contribute billions to our economy. And now it’s being used against them.

This is what scares me about universities. Compliance in the beforetimes meant unis had to regularly report student status w things like updated address etc. They aren't handing it over now suddenly. It's been a regular part of partnering. Now it will be exploited (yeah, some unis are evil tho)
