Most of the bushy heathers in my garden bloom/look best in January to April/May. I believe they are the winter blooming variety (deep pink and white). I do have some that arenβt blooming and are much thinner and have very pale blooms. Iβm in garden zone 8.
They must not be the species I am thinking of (Erica cinerea). Do you know their Latin name? There's Mexican Heather (Cuphea hyssopifolia) but that's only hardy to Zone 9. It could be Calluna vulgaris but that blooms in fall-winter. It's a mystery but it sure looks like a pretty shrub in your garden
Thank you βΊοΈ Iβve attached a pic of the Erica heather tag. Iβve also included a pic of Harvey with the heathers from the top of the yard. Theyβre a bit leggy this year so Iβll need to give them a trim later in the Spring.
