Same here, I’ve been fed up with superhero movies for at least 10 years. Make 60’s aesthetic FF film and put Galactus in it, Boom, I’m there! Great cast too!

My heart sank when I heard that Robert Downey Jr was playing Doom but hopefully if he’s in it at all he’s just in the post credit bit and I can leave before then.
My heart did too. And then I made myself remember The Michael Keaton Rule - you never know how casting turns out until it’s on the screen. I struggle to believe in the rule emotionally - I don’t feel comfortable about Downey’s new rule at all. But The Michael Keaton Rule still stands.
I hear that and it’s a good rule to remember but I can only speak personally, I liked Micheal Keaton before Batman, I find RDJr a really tough watch in almost everything.
Ah. Well, THAT’s certainly going to come in play for you. I guess my equivalent would be Tom Cruise as Doom. I recognise Cruise’s skills & appeal. But he’s just Marmite to me.
Exactly that. I’ll always go into a film with hope, mainly because I love film and I want to love every new experience. There are definitely actors/directors/ composers etc that have proven me wrong but it would take something stupendous all the way from Latveria to change my feelings on this one.
