Apple is pulling its Advanced Data Protection feature in the UK:
- Starting today, the feature is unavailable to new users in the UK.
- Timetable unclear, but UK users who have already enabled the feature will eventually have to DISABLE IT to continue using their iCloud account.

Like some notable politicians, it seems like Cook is saying the quiet part loud at Apple.
It's a matter of *risk assessment* and choosing the one that closest aligns with your interests.
Apple just happened to make a business out of aligning with those interests.
So far the US is really the only place they fought head-on.
