No, this is a real mushroom. I think Laccaria amethystina. The AI detectors don't work.

But I'm not sure the photo isn't stolen, most mycologists and nature photographers put their name in their profile.

The slightly soft focus on the mushroom makes me think the image is real—but the focal plane doesn’t make sense to me.

Kinda like coming up from that gap in the bark ... my ex and I lived in an old doublewide trailer for a few years in the 90's, and a mushroom came up out of the carpet in one of the bathrooms. 😅 (Yeah, there was actually carpet in the bathrooms).
