Personally, I love blogs, columns, opinion pieces, etc where the author is up front about "this is who I am and what my opinion is". That's conscience to me.

And a reasonable amount of unavoidable subjectivity is understandable.

To me, this was biased: opinion intentionally packaged as "news".
