Ever wondered why England doesn’t want Scotland to leave the UK. Scotlands resources are a golden ticket for the UK economy. Wake up Scotland we’re no too wee #Scottishindependence

I'm English, I don't hold that view, I was raised to be proud of the British Isles, I'm proud of these islands and do not want them separated. It has absolutely nothing to do with economics. So this is poor speculation at worst.
Being an independent country that can choose the government’s we vote for and make the decisions that’s best for our country doesn’t prevent the relationship and trade with England it’s about not being governed by another country.
We were always 4 countries in our own right. Scotish people were not allowed a say in this Union.
It's now debt ridden and corrupt and we know longer want to be part of that.
Independence is normal.
British Iles are nothing to be proud of. The Scottish people have been kept down since the union started. Scotland found oil, South England became rich with it while Scots lived in poverty. Same will happen with our wind power, we'll see no benefit & pay the highest tarriffs.
You are overstating the case, almost nobody in the UK has gained from oil, it's a bit like saying people in London gain from the stock market because it is situated there. Rich people across the UK benefited from oil, same goes for the stock market.
Everybody benefitted from North Sea oil Jop. Do you have any feel for why many Scots wish to be masters of their own destiny or do you reject their right to hold this aspiration.
Everyone? I think not, just look at the Norwegian position.
I have great respect for the opinions of the Scots, if there is a collective decision to break from the rest of the UK then that is to be respected. I have never said anything otherwise.
I simply hold a different view to your own
That's rubbish. Why is there more that one refinery in England, a country that doesn't produce oil if it wasn't making money? Where was the money going because money was being made from it, and only the south of England was becoming more affluent.
Where did it get the investment from, because it wasn't Scottish money. I'm happy to disagree, but your argument is badly conceived. If you want independence then that's cool, I do not.

Currently 58 New Scots to follow there👍🏼
…it’s only my half brummie accent (and weird sense of humour) that gives me away 🤪
