On a serious note, I wish we could have multiple Node types on a single Node somehow, similarly how you can assign multiple Components on a single GameObject in Unity. That would make my UI tree much smaller and nicer than it currently is 🌲
You could maybe hack this by making a resource that does what you want and then make your UI notes extend that resource but my lazy self probably just wouldn’t.
UI is really the only thing I think Unity has done better than Godot, it’s so much less fiddly
That'd need to be a Control, not a Resource. But nonetheless I'm too lazy myself as well... I just wish there was a simpler way by default than stacking up 5 Nodes...
