God, making a horror game is so difficult
Like making the game is easy
Making it actually horrifying is the most difficult thing in this worldπ

This is my first gameπ
BUT..
If done right can result in some cult classic video games!
It's why horror games rely so much on darkness. You don't know what's out there, but you know it's coming. And that's all you need to feel on edge
Dunno why but it just sounds right.....π
Maybe I should just research about silent hill
(i.e. probably just watch a 5 hour documentary about silent hills game design)
Also thanks for the suggestion! :D
All those horror games you love, use previous horror (an non horror) as influence.
From Silent Hill to Resident Evil.
Using Jurassic Park to Texas Chainsaw massacre
Maybe you'll struggle to convert, but may provide you some entertainment and maybe a brain spark or two
Like MOTHERED
Like seriously I thought it was one of those games that was so peak but no one knows about that!
Btw which was your fav section from the game??
The scene that made the most impression on me is in MOTHERED: HOME when [CORE] is secured and results of that. Damn...

I'm STUPID
.
.
Me and my friend are individually modelling AND animating it without IK
(Also cause IK in godot seems tough in general)
Like there is just something about it that truly makes it horrifying
