I understand 100%, my old dentist listened to my family history tolerance to oral local anaesthetics and adjusted my doses accordingly. He also diagnosed me with dentin resorption, every other dentist I've ever met refuses to accept that diagnosis and goes on to accuse me of excessive sugar intake.

I feel you. I changed dentists recently from one who wouldn’t look at patients and would only speak to the assistants as though we weren’t there, to one who sits down with us, chats about life, and discusses our dental care face to face. Made a HUGE difference. 😃
