If you’re an adoptee, you may have a big pile of papers somewhere. Or your a-parents may. Go through them and look for a “Certificate of Citizenship”. Maybe 9”x12”, heavy paper, at least for ones issued in the last 15 years. Or if you have a passport, then you’re a US citizen.
