Wish I could 😊 I was quite literally transported into the book. I smelled the dry heat, heard the cicadas & tasted the dust kicked up from the back of Adelaide's ute. The last page had me wishing there was more.

Just finished it. Couldn't get my head out of it. Entertaining, well conceived, relevant to the time. Faction would be my term I guess, it somehow seems like it is more fact than fiction. Captured the country town ethic to a tee. Now, do one for Atherton.
