Nostalgia is a funny thing. None of my friends wanted to play it with me because X-Men Legends 2 was so peak at the time. Everyone complained how arcade Ultimate Alliance was, like that was a bad thing. It felt like a 3-D beat-em-up
That's fair, I do think X-Men Legends 2 is great as well (especially when it comes to story.) I just personally think Ultimate Alliance 1 is the perfect gateway into the wider Marvel Universe.
