I’ve long admired how you manage to capture subjects in isolation at night. I’ve got your photobook After Hours, which is brilliant, and I’ve tried to emulate the style in north China but it’s too dry here and everyone goes to bed too damn early.

Absolutely love the layering of depth and the color in this shot. But probably the most stunning part of the shot, for me, is the line formed by the windows in the background. Directing the eye towards the person and at the same time metaphorically almost splitting the shot and person in two. Great!
