and seriously consider closer border controls including vax certificates for those entering from the US. no problem with a pandemic in the US (herd thinning according to RFK) but the rest of us deserve to stay alive.

Absolutely. As I recall we had advance warning of Covid waves (from Europe and the US,) but we did nothing to prepare.

Hopefully, 🤞🏼 we are taking H5N1 seriously on some level, and hospitals begin sub-typing all the positive influenza A cases soon.

All arriving USA passengers should be subject to a health check upon arrival like we did with covid … all countries should do this to all USA originating flights
