I think the graphics and the art style go together like with Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask on the N64. Something about that 90s anime art style that's all pointy that fits those 3D polygons well.

I hope they take a page from Square and go with graphics like the Trials of Mana or Romancing SaGa 2 remakes. Something that looks like how you remember PS2.

While I'd be more than happy with a simple rerelease that supported basic modern stuff like higher FPS, resolutions, etc. I wouldn't mind further tweaks to encounter rates, exp and battle speed in general. Make those battles flow much better! A full-on remake would be amazing, but seems unlikely.
