Arc 3 in general was pretty weak tbh. It started off *really* strong in the first two books, but then just started falling off midway through the 3rd one.
Book 15 was just straight up not good though. Like actually. I wonder what happened with it and why the author decided to go in that direction because it just feels completely different and disjointed from all the other books.
Dragonslayer (before book 14) was alright. I mostly enjoyed Wren/Sky and Leaf’s portion of the book. Ivy was okay, but she didn’t really have much going for her. Her friends were super annoying, too. Overall the book was kind of a slog to get through, but it wasn’t that bad.
I feel like it should of gone a different direction, it just felt weak overall. Plus the biggest crime out that arc was Peril and Sky never met. I want to see them meet!
That would be cool! I’d love to see how they interact with each other. They’re kinda the opposite of each other in a few ways, and I think that’d be a really cool dynamic to see. Plus I think peril really needs to have a good family member in her life

Still, it had THE perfect opportunity to pivot into a direction that would have made the rest of the arc absolutely fantastic. But alas…
