Even worse, we pay 20% to the insurance and still can’t afford the deductibles so many don’t use the insurance until it’s too late. Then we’re l ft with crippling debt.

Here in Germany (not a German citizen and don’t utilize the public health system) it’s €50 to see a dermatologist, €40 to see my son pediatrician for a next day sick appointment. My surgery next month will be at max €5k. All of this is paid upfront by private insurance or reimbursed at 100%

Then for them to deny surgeries… that doctors and specialists say you need… covered by the plan… while pain is overwhelming… they are nothing but a detour for our money
