…Could have nothing to do with dei or a lot. Maybe we’ve reached some structural limit on how low the gap can get or that further progress is possible. But throwing DEI out before understanding is perhaps reckless.

Or alternatively, poor managers might have used DEI as an excuse for not promoting a subordinate when, in fact, the subordinate was not the best candidate and the manager wanted to avoid an uncomfortable conversation.

Whole DEI convo is a joke. Ya’ll want people to think Black people are getting all these jobs they not qualified for. Yet look at every corporate board most management teams in America and you will see they’re nearly 100% white. I am working corporate offices across this country I see no one like me

On top of this I literally have kill myself over deliver while surrounded by many subpar average white people who are barely qualified and are not even doing average work. The whole system covers for them. It’s corporate welfare for white people.
