I create them using various techniques in Blender and lots of post colour fiddling ^^ There are some good tutorials out there on things like metalheart that come close to what I did for these. I can go in depth sometime but one post like this is too short. I should maybe make a tutorial myself ^^

It depends on how many faces the form has and what lighting stuff you use. I have a beefy pc right now but before it could take at least half an hour

I almost said half an hour surprised me, but it's an image, not a video, so it's shorter lol
I'll definitely check the tutorials, I really really wanted to pick up Blender anyways! This seems like the perfect place to start even if I don't use a ton of shaders immediately

To get a more "authentic" look you can try keeping the material a single colour but to crank up the metallic-ness of it. Then darken the scene and use light points to lit the scene
