saddly i don't have the consoles i used to have anymore, but the oldest one i had was a one of those bootleg Polystations that tried to pretend it was a PS1 but was actually a famicom/NES with a weird shell, so i guess oyu could say the oldest console i owned was techncially a NES? lmao

i'm from latin america, bootleg consoles were probably the first console of most of us here lol, specially if you're from brazil or bordering brazill since piracy in general is rampant there

Modded ones are absolutely amazing! With the more modern mods you don't even have to do any soldering (some require shell trimming though)
I do recommend keeping the OG dpad & A&B button membranes tho, aftermarket ones feel weird..

I'm sad I don't have the SNES I grew up with though. I think my mom gave that away to our cousins after I moved out, and lord knows what happened to it from there. 😭

I have my PS2 slim and my OG Xbox as well.

My husband has a PS1... portable... thingy. Like it's a PS1 with a screen built in? I think? I haven't seen it in a while, but he used it to play FF7 34,203,458 million times throughout our relationship, lmao.

He also has a GameCube still.

They look TERRIBLE even on the 1080p TV though. 😂

Okay, but yeah... it looked "fuzzy" & nice on the TVs it was meant for back in the day.

On a 1080p they're practically illegible. 😂
