I don't think I can properly put into words what kind of effect this has had on me, this is the 8th death of family or someone who I consider family that I have experienced. These things happen all the time but I suppose I just did not expect it to happen sudden and soon.

I am working on healing with this but I'm still in a time of major grief, so I'm really unsure about the future of things like my artwork and my shop, everything has been put on a sort of a hold.
I'm choosing to look at the good though, all he taught me.

I am eternally thankful I got to speak with him on the phone on Wednesday before he passed, even if I didn't know it would be the last time. I was telling him about my recent experience at the convention and he was so excited for me and we said we would talk later.

I still have a lot I want to fulfill and promises to uphold. We said we would see The Monkey together when it came out and I would spend time handing out treats with him on Halloween again like I did last year.
I still want to uphold these in one way or another.

I know all of this is very out of left field and not content I tend to post, even with the losses I've experienced before. This is just different for me and I wanted to say how much I appreciate everyone's support I have received in this past day.

I also lost my father abruptly 2 years ago, and I tell you that coping with these things is never easy. The best advice I can give is to talk to your family or loved ones about the situation and try to not repress these feelings of grief.
