now the rest of the arm! i cut pieces + trimmed to size for my own arm. this required lots of test fittings & adjusting. remember that you will have your coat fabric on UNDER the arm so fit accordingly! i tried this on w/ my coat like 10+ times until i was happy. just use masking tape to test fit! - ThreadSky

for the "bone" pieces you will need to use a dremel to get the shape. WEAR A RESPIRATOR WHEN YOU DREMEL!!! this also required adjustment until i was happy w the shapes. then i used loctite adhesive spray to bond the fabric to the bigger pieces, contact cement to lock them down on the back sides.

when i was happy w everything i bonded the fabric! this was the most time consuming but also the most satisfying. i will link my fabric choice at the end but i was so proud of the shine on it! perfect iridescent look to it imo. (used LED EVA foam for the hole pieces 2 add lights down the line)

for final construction: bond the "top" pieces together with contact cement. they will sit on your upper arm and stay there for the most part. you could insert velcro here to attach it to your coat sleeve if it has too much free movement for your taste, but mine literally just sits snug on my arm.

for the lower arm pieces, i used elastic bands that i bonded to the inner sides of the arm. i chose black elastic bc i wore a black armsleeve under the arm, but you could do this in the color of your choice. i chose black bc it is easier to photoshop it out to make it look like empty space!
