I can't get over the fact that the "stumble" Schumer is so happy about, was the Trump admin retracting the funding freeze memo, which was just a move to side step the courts.

They weren't (and aren't) walking back the funding freeze efforts.

Too bad thats not how reality works! Insecure times leads more people to want a person or authority to save them. Destroyed democracies don’t just shrug off the bad guys and recover next election (partly because there is no next election).

So…i dont think im at the place to think elections will never happen again. Indians said the same but election continued but people didn’t change. It took 10 years for the opposition to get any trust back and they fought for it. They didn’t wait and let people suffer.

They're waiting for the public tide to turn against Republicans while doing nothing to turn the tide themselves, just hoping they can ride back into office if the pendulum swings to the left without having to do or offer anything themselves

And it won't happen! Conservatives are never going to look at their grocery bill or their benefits being stripped away and blame Republicans for it, they live in a completely different information sphere that Dems are making no effort to breach
