Fans have been vocalising their views online. In particular, we are disappointed by the lack of an inclusive title or equal billing for the female co-lead (Melissa McBride & her character Carol), as well as the way the writing positions stereotypical male POVs over female empowerment. (2/2)

I first read it as a kid and just found it incredibly cool. Then as the years went by, the more of her I read, the more the philosophical depth of her work dawned on me. It’s perfect science fiction.
