i know it LOOKS like there's a great eye, lidless and wreathed in flame, atop the tower of Barad Dur, which APPEARS to have been rebuilt, but here's why it's important not to jump to conclusions!

While under certain conditions, Saruman's cloak can appear to be "many colored" it is still largely perceived to be white by his followers. I, for one, hope we can hold me to account for the employment promises of his Isengard industrialization project.
The lidless burning eye is out of its gourd on ketamine and is obsessed with collecting ALL the gold rings, slightly hampered by its tendency to liquishit itself every time a Happy Meal hits its vestigial gut.
I know when I put on the ring it *seemed* like I was immediately flown on astral winds to the very heart of Mordor and saw the dread tower looming as I was raised to stare into the burning eye of Sauron but maybe I was just sending my heart out to the crowd. Who knows.
A Necromancer in Dol Guldur. . . ? Nothing to worry about. Just some evil guy completely unrelated to the Dark Lord. I mean, Saruman said he checked it out personally and it was fine, and if you're not going to trust the leader of the White Council then you're just fearmongering
