I consider my unsold pieces my collectors items and put them in the archive (under my desk). It’s in the vault, you know? Works on the path to whatever this creative vine leads to.
Give yourself grace. People just aren't spending like they used it, and it doesn't mean anything negative towards your work. The right person will come along. Just give yourself grace and continue creating works you love ❤️
Don't know about that. In art, some things sell immediately and some not. Don't hang your creative impulses on whether it sells or not. KEEP ON CREATING. Artists of all kinds will save the world.
Be patient love. I sell cross stitch patterns on Etsy and almost gave up after a few months of not selling any. Then one day sales just started coming in. Love your work! Stick with it! 🫶🏻
Art is unfortunately a luxury for many these days, and sometimes it just takes the exact right person to come along! Your work is beautiful, they will find forever homes 🫶🏻
This is very kind of you to say, thank you! I have a hard time comparing myself to larger shops whose drops sell out in minutes. I just need to be patient!
Yeah and also I found that you can use certain strategies via social media followings. I used build up urgency over 2 weeks and have all it go live at once and whip up a feel of FOMO. It takes awhile but limit digital sales to like 5 downloads so that ppl feel like they’re getting exclusive stuff
It’s not embarrassing mate, I had an Etsy store for years before anyone started buying. Times are really tough financially and people are looking for bargains. Don’t undercut yourself. The right buyer will come along and appreciate your magic work. I personally would pay the price of your items
