Really? That's interesting. My experience has been pretty much the opposite (on Tumblr at least)-- everyone I've seen who's super into the actual lore of Thedas despises Veilguard. I've read some pretty upsetting things.

Awesome <3 I've gathered it's not for me, esp since I'm still angry about what Inquisition did to my beloved Wardens lol, and I've heard not great things about what Veilguard did to the Dalish, the other group I care a Normal Amount(tm) about. But I'm sad, bc I wanted to see how it all shook out.

I'm glad it's resonated with you and given you joy though. We need every scrap of it we can get :/ It's the little things, sometimes. It was Andromeda for me in 2017-- I had to stick around on this mortal coil to play it, and I loved it even when everyone else it seems hated it.

Mage! I think I'm actually enjoying Warrior more, which is so weird for me! I'm usually like you where I typically like to stick to mage unless it's for repeat playthrough purposes. The death warrior build is STUPID FUN

I loved it so much, I was genuinely surprised to see so much negativity about it. Love all the party members too, especially Taash ❤️. I'm on 2nd playthrough as a Crow archer, first was shadow dragon (can't drag myself away from being a rogue 😂)

I'm still on playthrough #1 but it's just such an enjoyable time! Very much evokes a mix of BioWare games from that DA2/ME2+3/Inq era, for me, but with lots of added QoL changes. Looks amazing too, and just /feels/ like Dragon Age?

First playthrough was an elf mage and now I'm doing a Grey Warden warrior. I really like how the decisions come into play later in the game. Looking forward to seeing the difference a Warden makes as opposed to my Shadow Dragon.
