So my Girlfriend has only seen 3 Ghibli films (Howls moving castle, Spirited away, and kikis delivery service). What one do you think I should show her next? 😇

it’s a newer one but it has a different animation style, it looks like a storybook!! it’s an adaptation of a japanese folk tale and it’s sooo beautiful
Ponyo is such a cute film! And someone else has mentioned the Boy and The Heron too, I also haven't seen that one. It might be a nice surprise for both of us then.
A lot of people have been suggesting princess Mononoke! It's a long one but it's very very good and the visuals are just magical. And ooo When Marnie Was There is a lovely one that my mums even watched and enjoyed!
I love My Neighbour Totoro! She'd probably end up wanting a plushie of him xD I remember when they'd show it on TV back in the early 2000s in Japanese as the Dub wasn't even released yet.

Yess!! I was thinking that as It's my 3rd favourite Ghibli film. But I was wondering if I should do Whisper Of The Heart first, as they are both connected.
Yeah so I think it takes place beforehand. It's a romance film and it focuses around the shop Baron lives when he's just a statue/figue. Moota is also a normal cat you see too.
Arrietty is an easy one to leave out! But I had a rat named after her (and two others named Ponyo and Kiki!!), so that keeps the film in my heart. Pom Poko is also a really fun watch!
