I know it's not my place to police what they do in their free time - this is a hobby project - or how they contribute to the mod. Nevertheless, using generative AI comes with ethical issues which I raised with them (for the third time) because I did not feel they had been properly acknowledged. 2/13

and a third not even bothering to respond to my points but instead fed it into ChatGPT to refute. I knew at that moment that having a good faith discussion that could lead to a healthy acknowledgment of the issues and ultimately compromise on both sides was impossible. [4/13]

All I wanted was when generative AI is used, it comes with a disclaimer that not all members of the team agree on the usage of genAI. However a healthy discussion that could lead to this was simply impossible; so I gathered my thoughts, announced my reasons to the public, and left. [5/13]

Unfortunately, since I didn't leak the dev chat showing the disrespect, they were able to paint me as the madman; the one who just got tilted due to their personal stance and could have easily sorted something out if I'd been more patient. While a part of that is true- [6/13]
