36 years ago today (3/12/89) #MauriceEvans passed away from heart failure due to a bronchial infection. He was 87 years old. He played Samantha's father Maurice over the course of the series. He was a gifted Shakespearean actor and an Emmy award winner. RIP Mr. Evans
