They aren't no! I've been stupid busy recently so haven't had the chance to update but plan to tonight! Honestly fishing minigames can be daunting, but they're always a great addition to a game, in my opinion

I'm always happy when all I need to do is just push a button when I have a bite on the line, like in Wylde Flowers. Have you seen Little Known Galaxy? It doesn't have "fishing" but arguably the virus scanner is the fishing replacement and it has a mini game (that can be disabled).

That's a good question! My number one recommendation will always be Stardew Valley, but I'd also recommend WEBFISHING, Moonglow Bay, or Ooblets!

fears to fathom 5 & fly knight have fishing. didnt see those on the list yet.

isles of sea & sky, surprisingly no fishing. dead letter department, not even any phishing, unbelievable.

future suggestions: ULTRAKILL, cruelty squad, deadly premonition, twilight princess, manny's, multiple breath of fire games

also games that are explicitly fishing games: mysteries under lake ophelia, river king series, sonic adventure 1 (big's campaign), in-fisherman bass hunter 64
