Me too, and at some point I'm hoping we can get something like an aftermarket DS with HD displays that can leverage it. There is that Ayaneo Flip, but the cost is kind of ridiculous for what it is. Some people use Bluetooth controllers on folding phones too, but I want a DS clone lol.

It was developed originally for the OpenPandora when Exophase was active on the boards there.
There were a lot of jokes about you can't do DS emulation since there's only one screen all the way until he surprise released it.
It was an awesome emulator from day 1!

Desmume was considered obsolete by DraStic. MelonDS didn't exist yet at that moment but MelonDS is decent too by its accuracy.

I'm under impression that drastic still is the best DS emulator to this day. Heck, it most of times is better than running DS on a 3DS which has actual hardware support but poor upscaling due to the resolution increase not being an integer multiplier.
