The Art Museum of the Americas in Washington, D.C., has canceled two major exhibitions showcasing Black and LGBTQ+ artists, citing executive orders from Donald Trump targeting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

This is insane. Seeing as DEIA initiatives were designed to benefit all people, singling out the exhibits of Black and LGBTQ artists explicitly proves his executive order
is being interpreted to be rooted in racism, homophobia, and transphobia and shame on them for their compliance.
The granularity that the current administration is targeting non-white, non-heterosexual people is both disgusting as an act as it is disgusting for being premeditated and carried out.
Trump's whole administration has probably never even set foot in an art museum. They wouldn't know art if it grew legs and kicked them in the ass. *They* are the "waste, fraud, and abuse."
I think they still should have had the exhibitions despite the so called executive orders. Not sure why they didn’t do that if the museum isn’t owned or funded by the federal government.
