So this creature almost looks like it could hunt in slums too, the gaunt pale skin that barely clings to its skeleton looks like it could also be a drug addict or living in condemned buildings that are frequented by people who look similar to it. Is it possible, or am I reaching?

Follow up questions, is this thing a solitary hunters? Does it nest? Are there more of them, and if so, do they fight over territory? Could one that consumes a person then take that persons identity if they consume it, and then move in with the family to make an easy meal of them all?

The shape of the head when the real mouth is opening and the placement of the eyes makes me think of a cricket or grasshopper. Which is interesting to me seeing as it chirps to mimic hospital equipment and that it does the reverse knees for its quadrupedal stance.
