RIP David Lynch. I had a friend who would let me in free at the Triple Classic in Athens. He told me that there was this new detective movie showing, Blue Velvet. I went with two friends, riveted to the seat. We left, stood awhile on the sidewalk, saying “Goddamn!” to ourselves. Unbelievable artist.
