Alice Allison Dunnigan (04/27/1906 – 05/06/1983)was an American journalist, civil rights activist and author. She became the first Black female to have a Capitol press pass and the first Black elected to the Women's National Press Club. In 1948, she covered the presidential campaign of Harry Truman.
