We have options. Beak, rockslide, glob, cosmar from the newer stuff. Could be lead by Nightcrawler or maybe- just maybe- we could get Marrow in a modern book where she says more than three words. My girl's been on the bench too long.

You're right, there certainly are plenty of options. Warlock, Artie, Leech, Mammomax, Forearm, Bling, Darwin, Caliban, Feral.

Nightcrawler could be interesting as the "photogenic" member. Or maybe it could be part of Beast trying a redemption arc. (I'm a couple years behind on X lore curently)

Ooh, beast redemption arc could be good. I just threw Kurt out because he's popular and got lots of experience. They began to give Emplate a tenuous redemption but he seems to have fallen off the wagon according to Avengers Academy. Would have liked to see more of him in a different context.

Marrow is also an interesting one for me. Because I took some time away from comics in the mid 90s and when I came back it felt like this new character was everywhere.

After the redesign during the Alan Davis run she kind of just faded into the background. Maybe she's due for a comeback.

I thoroughly enjoyed her. She was peak edgy 90's drama queen with a unique look and an actually half decent redemption arc that I feel only really got to the 2/3 mark before she got benched. Would love to see more of her in a modern context.

I thought it was interesting that she was basically created to fulfill the role of surly pot-stirrer since Wolverine at the time was now a veteran of the team and a leader/father figure on the team. Really anything to shake up what part of the roster is front and center would be welcome.
