I think the best franchise that feels like old school housewives still with updates fashions and actual relationships is Miami I think Salt Lake City the girls aren’t necessarily friends more so trauma bonded through Jenn and Some how Monica which is weird they give Jenn more grace than Monica

I do think there are some prior existing relationships that make RHOSLC dynamic (Mer and Lisa, Heather and Whitney). That and the cast has made an actual effort to be friends and share aspects of their personal lives. Everything’s so hyper-curated on RHONY.

I think the friendships on SLC are strategic but what makes them successful has nothing to do with the friendship it’s the fact that they’re willing to authentic and share their lives while in NY they all seem to be worried about their image with the exception of Jessel and maybe Jenna

I can see that. Jenna’s also performing (I’ve heard she’s a nightmare to work with, but that’s to be expected of in her profession) but she’s had more time to curate a public persona and that shows.
