The Aqara u200 is great when it works, but reliability has been a bitch. If you plan on buying this lock, get it from somewhere with good warranty service as you might need to get it replaced once. Bought it from a German retailed who has non existing customer support :-/ - ThreadSky

I had issues with my my U100 locking up. Aqura Sent me a replacement about the same time I discovered that my Sonos speakers were spamming the network with a known bug. It was causing other WiFi devices to lock up as well. Once I removed them from my network my lock up issues went away.

I have a few Aqara Zigbee T/H sensors and they're also hit and miss. Some work reliably, others regularly just stop working for a while.

The general consensus I found during my research last year when I set up a new security system is that Aqara has slick looking devices, but everything else is subpar.

Unfortunately the smart lock situation is just not amazing overall for apartment owners. Nuki does exist but the lock is equally unreliable and some others require full cylinder swaps.
