Yes! I bought the audiobook — it’s in my towering TBR pile waiting for a day when I feel I can handle reading about real stuff instead of fictions carefully written specifically to divert my attention away from…real stuff. But these reminders increase the chances I get to it this year!

Re how to stop the Christian right. My humble suggestion would be Christianity, except that we Christians have this penchant for getting Christ’s Way *exactly wrong* most of the time for most of our history…including yours truly.

I think as Christians we’ve got a responsibility to reverse things, but we’ve got to name our lack of inclusion for diverse expressions of God, love, and truth being the ones who tend to lead the way. The marginalized are always hardest hit, but often the brightest spots of hope and positive action.
