I tried to deactivate my account on the app, it kept saying there was a problem and I couldn’t deactivate, so I deleted the app. Today I used my browser and logged into X, I was able to deactivate from there.
I've never been on Twitter before, but I read somewhere that deactivating your account first (I think for 30 days) will make sure no one else can use your account and impersonate you. Not sure how it works or if it's true, but that's what I heard from ex-Twitter users (or XTwitter users)
I think I deactivated my acct. But I'm not sure. I think I read if I don't use x for 30 days it's deactivated.i went to settings but can't figure it out. Any tips anyone?
Shouldn't we not only deactivate but delete our X accts as well? Mark Cuban said (without proof) Elonia was using accts, some inactive since 2015, as bots to spread Russian propaganda.
Niall Harbison. He neuters/spays street dogs & gets them vet care in Thailand. He has a group of people across the Island that helps him feed over 800 dogs a day. He also has a quasi hospital where the most sick and injured dogs are taken care of until they're healthy.

I split my "twitter" time between politics/news on Bsky and other stuff on X now but i hope to stop using X for anything
Trump era means increased time on news/politics
It was more liberating than I expected too.
And some are to addicted to the algo that pushes them up.
And just like that, the hate creeping into my life is gone
Feels more like a cult over here.
