I could be wrong but I believe it is reactive, not proactive. Way too many birds to be tested, so they wait until clinical signs of illness. If tests come back positive, the flock is euthanised.

I found some info through USDA and CIDRAP...might be a good place to start. They get numbers in from the State level, it appears...

Yes, I think they specifically asked to shut down all the information and tracking, but I’m wondering if anybody is doing it independently. We need to know.

I remember during Covid, there was one lady in Florida who was keeping track of the Covid in Florida, since the governor wasn’t.

Hmmm, time to do some research. Especially since this has the potential to make covid look like a summer picnic, if it mutates....and viruses certainly do that. I know one person has died in the US.

Yes. It’s also gotten to cows and other animals. And of course we need ALL birds though it’s been spreading for a few years.

Then there tuberculosis in Kansas schools, polio out there, and Ebola in Uganda in Kampala, the capitol city.
