I like to let people get deep into bragging about IQs, tell them what I tested at, and then tell them I feel IQ tests are meaningless & virtually useless

Places on IQ tests (regardless of their actual score) and the likelihood that person would design an IQ test themselves! It is only a measure of how similar you are to a given ideal. In this case the ideal self image of those who participated in the creation of the IQ test.

My IQ was ~140 when I was a teenager. All it meant was my brain was spry and good at connecting *certain kinds* of dots. The idea that it denoted my “ability” or “value” as a person is insane.
I was really good at math and English, but that’s basically it. I was TERRIBLE at history and science.
