I did read it. I only responded to the last sentence. Please explain to me who doesn't have empathy and class solidarity: those that willingly voted against the interest of trans people, POC, women, etc because they'll "get mine" or those that didn't (as much as they could)?

So do I. They were lied to by Trump. They are victims too. We are all Americans. We dont have to "care" about people or empathize with them to want equal rights for all of us. Having rights is not an emotional issue. Wanting other Americans to lose rights and suffer is what our enemies want.

They’re immigrants. This was their first election. What they saw was a genocide of people fueled by the Democrats and high taxes coupled with higher home prices. Trump lied and promised them a better future. They’re also victims of propaganda jingoism and a misogyny as they help spread it.
