I really need to take the plunge and move out of my parent’s house in 2025. I don’t mind living here nor do i have any problems w my family, but i am just ready for my own personal space, independence, and privacy. Living here demotivates me to do alot of things so badly - ThreadSky

Other than running a 6.5 hour JRPG run for over 2 years, after i got a satisfactory goal for FF7, i haven’t done any speedrunning since April. Even though i have wanted to. I am surely not done with speedrunning, i just mentally cant do it rn living at home. Is that weird? Idk

I was learning Alundra, but idk if i can justify committing to a 3.5 hour speedrun that isnt a JRPG. Lots more stuff to practice and stay consistent at since i dont just speedrun for fun. I may try to learn something in the close future, but its so hard to sit down and do it w how im feeling rn

I will say the big silver lining of 2024 was I played a ton of casual games and got a good footing on my backlog complete. But i miss streaming, i miss speedrunning, and being able to mentally do it throughout the year. Living at home has been whats been keeping me from staying on it lately. Sucks
