I'm sure I'm the only person who shared this sentiment. When I play a game it's kind of difficult to get fully immersed especially if you're not on an ultra wide monitor. I feel games especially AAA games are supposed to be world's that can be lived in, immersed in - ThreadSky

For example if I play AC Blackflag I wonder what it would be like if we can almost transport our selves to that world and live as the character the way we do in real life. VR gaming has come closer bot some main barriers, the graphics, the controls, the world, the movement e.t.c

For me the things that must come together to generate a truly loveable world is

1. Sight (Graphics)
2. Sound (Audio)
3. Touch (not just holding a controller but fully able to use your limbs and to move around naturally in that world like you would in real life)

4 & 5) Taste and Smell (We're still years away from this)

Ngl I get vexed when I see some people say all someone would need is a 4070 or 4090 cause the graphics are good enough and barely getting 60 fps in Alan wake is good enough. We should be aiming for 8K 120fps native grpahics in alan wake

I believe we still haven't scratched the surface of what games could be or as I like to call them alternate worlds. Just checking DeviantArt shows me that there's infinitely more that can be made into games and more to come
