It's one of the most stressful things to do. Hope it all went well & you had an excellent crew to more you. My previous job as an owner operator was doing this day in day out helping people alleviate the stress out of it allπ When you have a good crew it makes a great difference
It is stressful to do. I've seen it all. I think my advice, explaining how a removal works, ways to save money, save time along with other useful info I've seen some at the start of the whole quote frazzled but after an 1hr with me they're ready to book. 85%+ quote rate success. Information is key
That would be stressful. Have to definitely work as a team from the start of the process to the completion. I think I handled it well. Our crews, my bro & I would drop a few jokes on the day. Be surprised how a little joke would relieve some of the stress. I could see stress build up some
Thats excellent! I'm glad you had someone good doing the job. It's not easy to do yourself but depending on capabilities & if there's access to the new property sometimes some clients would move the smalls & leave the large stuff for us. Way to save money but only if keen cause it's hard work
It can be. Especially if pre-packing is added on. 2 guys would be about $140-$160 p/hr depot to depot now for a reputable company. Always use a removalist in a removal organisation like AFRA or PTMA. PTMA was set up by smaller family businesses. My bro & I were in it. Still have a boxπ±
