Its been going on for years....We wrote Dan, I believe in 2006 when we read an NIH research talking about him presenting this (our) result. He responded that it was a misunderstanding and clarified it. That's a long standing misunderstanding now on National TV.

The misattribution got so bad we sent him a slide of that graph with our names on it. To his credit he did start using it.
