AR: "I have always been linked to Syrphidae collections, both foreign (Scotland, Serbia) and national (University of Alicante, where I work). I have done a lot of research and technical tasks during the last 20 years."
AR: "Our studies depend on those specimens to be reproducible/verifiable. Moreover, collections are an important source of biological, spatial and temporal data, which are crucial for conserving biodiversity."
AR: “Sufficient and adequate space to house them, as well as enough income and staff for their management/study. Collections serve as a reference to assess importance and trends of pollinators, on which food security depends.”
